Costa Rica’s Día de la Mascarada Tradicional Costarricense is a colorful celebration of folklore, giant handmade masks, lively music, and dancing characters like La Giganta and El Diablo! Unlike Halloween, which focuses on costumes, trick-or-treating, and spooky fun, this tradition celebrates Costa Rica’s rich cultural heritage.

Very recently, we in the Southern Zone of Costa Rica have experienced losses of several legendary men. Now we have lost two more incredible people. Extraordinary men, whose contributions to our greater community have been enormous. Our heartfelt condolences go out to their beloved friends and families.

Please meet Rex and Miss Molly in the Southern Zone of Costa Rica. Their owners left for Canada and won’t be returning. We need to find them a forever home. They are sweet loving dogs.
