Vivan Las Americas!!

There is a lot of chatter right now as to what are the Americas 🤔.

For years here in Costa Rica, I would often hear, "You are an Americana" and I would always reply, " Ticos are Americans too! " I always found it quite uncomfortable that the United States had co-opted "America" as their own exclusively.

Knowing that this was not a right-wing / left wing controversy, here we are sharing a map of the Americas and a list that includes all. My personal opinion is is that Costa Rica is the Jewel.

The Americas consist of 35 sovereign countries divided into North America, Central America, South America, and the Caribbean. Key populous nations include the USA, Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, and Canada. These countries are known for their diverse languages and cultures, from Canada in the north to Argentina and Chile in the south.
