Last weekend I was enticed to do the Zipline Tour at Hacienda Baru and though totally out of my comfort zone and quite apprehensive ... it was a blast!!!!
HELP WANTED - CAREGIVERS
I am seeking help to provide care for my 93 year old father. He is moving soon to Costa Rica and we will be hiring people to take care of him around the clock. His main needs are companionship, cueing for personal care, and cooking. We plan to split the work into three shifts - one will be overnight and the other two will split up the daytime hours. The ability to speak at least some English is a must. A background in work with the elderly would be a plus. My Dad loves to chat and can be a lively conversationalist, but he has little short term memory. Individuals and couples will be considered. I would love to connect with people who are in need of learning how to make the trek by bus to Nicaragua to renew the visa..I used to make trips to Panama but now I hear that's not possible without a plane ticket. FEATURED PROPERTY OF THE WEEK
The property is nestled in the Rio Chirripo valley at an elevation of 1150 meters (3773 feet). Oranges, Sweet Lemons, Limes, Banana, Cas, Guava, Water Apple, Plantain, Cacao, Myrtle Berry, Mulberry, plus Pineapples, Red and Black Raspberries. There is a covered Yoga/Qi Gong deck looking at Mt Chirripo (size about 30 ft diameter). The property has recently been used as a holistic health center, so that route could also be pursued by new owners. Total house areas about 5700 square feet (530 M2), plus covered decks of 570 square feet (53 M2) This magical & unique property of 10 acres with 6 houses and 2 cabins has been drastically transformed over the last few years and is offered now for only $295,000.
