Volunteers wanted asap!

  • Charlie's Angels - Animal Rescue is looking for short term volunteers for our rehabilitation project for neglected and abused dogs in a remote mountain village in Costa Rica.

  • Ideally it would require a commitment of 2 - 4 weeks (or longer). You would live in a spacious and clean house together with our main volunteer Laura Bye from Canada's rescue organisation "Save Our Scruff" and 1-2 other volunteers of your rescue organization.

  • The people we are looking for need to be tidy, self sufficient, able to use their own initiative and of course unconditional dog lovers with good experience in dog care.

  • We look for enthusiastic people who embrace the idea of being involved in an animal charity project. Basic Spanish would be wonderful.

  • The house is located in a tranquil village, close to the Chirripó National Park (about 25 minutes from San Isidro by car). The property has a huge garden with flowers, fruit trees and all sorts of exotic plants.

  • We are looking for open minded volunteers who are willing to help taking care of our beautiful rescue dogs, in a peaceful and picturesque environment. The climate is very pleasant up here. We have sunny days but it’s not too hot and our afternoons can be misty with clear evenings and cool nights.

  • The house has 4 bedrooms, a large kitchen, and 2 bathrooms with warm water showers. Additionally the house has an outside kitchen with a brand new washing machine and enough space to bath the dogs.

  • You would have your own room, towels and linen are provided.

  • Please send us a PM with an informative introduction of yourself and why you think this could be something that interests you. Only serious enquiries please!

  • We are happy to send more information about our dogs and how everything would work.

  • You could start as soon as possible!
