Couldn't find anything written about this, but it seems like the Transitos (Traffic Police) are on steroids at the moment! Several families at the Perez Zeledon feria last week got tickets and their plates confiscated for parking in a new or old yellow lined space, or what seemed to be no reason at all. We have also received reports from Golfito and San Vito that they are having more than usual traffic stops so be sure and have all of your paperwork with you when you are driving.

A sweet, old dog has decided to settle in at my house after showing up a couple times over the last week, and it seems pretty clear to me that he's been well cared for (just bathed, nails trimmed, clean teeth) and I'm guessing someone is looking for him.
