If your cellphone is stolen it is recommended you call * # 06 # and block the usage of your phone. This program has been in operation since 2012 and has already blocked 408,062 phones in CR alone that have been reported stolen. Anyone considering buying a phone from someone should also call the blockage number first to see if the phone has been blacklisted.
