More than ever the saying, "Trust in God and tie your horses" is relevant. Many people have lost much of their money by scams in the name of Banco Nacional and Banco Costa Rica. Here is an article on BCR which has many people's accounts negatively affected. One of the most prevalent scams is someone who sounds like they are calling from Banco Nacional claims they need extra information for a payment on something. They sound very professional and real ... but please don't be fooled.
