SHORT TERM HOUSESITTING!
Looking for an independent animal and nature lover to be a surrogate mom or dad for my 3 dogs, 2 cats and 4 chickens. Lovely farm in the mountains of southern Costa Rica near San Vito. Urgent unexpected trip for 6 days in September from the 3rd to the 10th, 2018. Small renovated house with high speed internet, hot water shower, washing machine, and all amenities. Small organic greenhouse. Peace, privacy but only 15 minutes from town by car. There is no bus however, so transportation an issue; taxis are available and cost $10 US to town. I provide all the animal food.
Responsibilities;
Taking care of the animals and plants. Normal house keeping, giving lots of love and attention to my pets. The dogs live outside, the cats have their own door. Chicken house needs to be opened at 5amand closed at dark. Eggs need to be gathered. Dogs need to be walked daily. Cuddling with the kitties. Composting, weeding the little greenhouse and watering the plants.
This farm is isolated so you must be comfortable with your own company. There will be NO CAR so trips to town will be few.
Speaking Spanish will be helpful. There is also help available nearby for problems. A local telephone will be essential.
