February means Divine Sunsets in our Southern Zone of Costa Rica
February 4, 2016
by Joschua Hohenbrink at Finca La Puebla Organic Farm
Definitely check out the Events page ... we are rockin' here in the Southern Zone of this wonderful country. And remember to avoid touching the cute furry caterpillars here ... heard 3 stories in the last week of those who came in contact with them. BIG LONG OUCH.
There is currently a humongous international campaign attempting to link the Zika virus (same mosquito as Dengue) to babies being born with microcephaly (small & damaged brains). I have done a lot of investigating and will go out on a limb and say this ... definitely attempt to avoid getting bitten by mosquitoes here, there and everywhere. But the research just doesn't link the two. Zika has been around for decades with no connection. The real cause(s) may well be being ignored with the fury to link the two so prominent in the news. More on this to come.
We are very happy to help introduce Medicines from the Edge ... please click here to read about this remarkable event coming up.

Seeking home for 4 -5! We are looking to find a place to rent for March or sooner in Alfombra, Tinamastes, Diamante Valley, or Platanillo. We have a dog, and are 3 women with kids. We are healers, are sober, clean, and responsible; and seek a place that is near nature, has clean water, is private, and not too far from bus lines. We are open to a house or a house and cabinas, a farm-like setting, or other options.
Special Pet Sitter Vicki Skinner will be in the Perez Zeledon area March 3 (coming to help people register to Vote from Abroad at the feria). I prefer helping people that see their fur babies as family as I give 2-10+ massages a day, let them sleep with me, give them LOTS of time & love++. Do you have a baby that needs special attention?
