Vida Auténtica se complace en presentar de nuevo el Festival de Semillas, un evento comunitario que se centra en la recolección, conservación e intercambio de semillas dentro de nuestra comunidad. Este año tendremos oradores invitados, presentaciones de fincas, intercambio de semillas, música en vivo, actividades para niños, deliciosas comidas y más!

Empiecen a guardar semillas!
Llévelas al festival etiquetadas con el nombre, cómo, cuándo y dónde plantar, y sus usos tradicionales. Estaremos aceptando donaciones de semillas en el altar central donde puedes compartirlas e intercambiarlas por otras variedades. Si tomó semillas del evento del año pasado, le recordamos que traiga otras nuevas para compartir este año.
La entrada al festival es GRATIS para todos!
Sin embargo, hay muchos costos y necesidades involucrados en la producción del festival. Al final de esta invitación hay una lista de las necesidades del festival. Tómese unos minutos para revisar y si desea ayudar, se lo agradeceríamos enormemente.
En alineación con el tema del año, Cuerpo y Suelo: Prácticas Regenerativas, esto será un
EVENTO SIN RESIDUOS!
Nos unimos para compartir e intercambiar semillas, así que traiga sus propios contenedores para transportar sus semillas hacia y desde el festival. Para aquellos que no pueden traer las suyas, tendremos bolsas de tela, hechas de material reutilizado, disponibles para COMPRA a un precio de costo. Otra zona que produce grandes cantidades de residuos es la cocina. Por lo tanto, les pedimos a todos que vengan preparados con su propio plato, tazón, cubiertos y taza. Estos artículos también estarán disponibles para ALQUILER en la cafetería. Cualquiera que sea el material de desecho que ingrese con usted, DEBE irse con usted al final del día. Tendremos contenedores para recoger material orgánico. Se enviarán más consejos por correo electrónico y Facebook a medida que nos acercamos a la fecha del festival. Este año estamos buscando patrocinadores para ayudar a apoyar este festival gratuito, ya que no hemos podido cubrir nuestros gastos en los últimos años.
Por favor considere patrocinar:
1. $50 y más, y publicaremos su nombre en un hermoso banner en la entrada al Festival
2. $100 y más, y le proporcionaremos un boleto de comida gratis en nuestra deliciosa cafetería orgánica, así como también publicaremos su nombre en una hermosa pancarta en el camino de entrada al Festival.
3. $150 en adelante, y le proporcionaremos dos boletos de comida gratis en nuestro delicioso café orgánico, así como también publicaremos su nombre en una hermosa pancarta en el camino de entrada al Festival.
También Necesitamos:
¡Voluntarios! Se necesitan en muchas áreas del evento, antes, durante y después. (Por ejemplo distribución de volantes, montando y desmontando el espacio, personas para recibir a los asistentes del festival, ayudantes de cocina, del altar de semillas, de la zona infantil, etc).
Una lona o carpa para cubrir el área de presentaciones.
Un sistema de sonido para la música y presentación.
Donación de productos horneados (sin gluten, con gluten, veganos o no veganos) para ser vendidos en la mesa de postres.

Body and Soil: Regenerative Practices
A Zero-Waste Event
Vida Auténtica is excited to announce our upcoming Seed Festival - an annual event that focuses on the collection, preservation and exchange of plant seeds within our community. This year’s festival will host guest speakers from around Costa Rica, farm presentations, a seed exchange, live music, activities for kids, food stalls plus the sharing of great information!

Start saving your seeds!
Bring them to the festival labeled with name, how, when and where to plant, and their traditional uses. We will be accepting seed donations at the central altar where you can share and exchange them for other varieties! If you took seeds from last year’s event, we encourage you to bring new ones back to share this year.
Entrance to the festival is FREE to all!
However, there are many costs and needs involved in producing the festival. At the bottom of this invitation is a list of the festival’s needs. Please take a few moments to review and if you are wanting to help, we would greatly appreciate it.
In alignment with is year’s theme, Body and Soil: Regenerative Practices, this will be a
ZERO-WASTE EVENT!
We are coming together to share and exchange seeds, so please bring your own containers to transport your seeds to and from the festival. For those who are unable to bring their own, we will have fabric bags, made from repurposed material, available for PURCHASE at a nominal price. Another area which produces great amounts of waste is the kitchen. Therefore, we are asking everyone to come prepared with their own plate, bowl, cutlery, and cup. These items will also be available for RENT at the cafe. Whatever waste items enter with you, MUST leave with you at the end of the day. We will have containers to collect organic material. More tips will be sent out via email and Facebook as we approach the festival date. And please feel free to send any questions to us at info.vida.autentica@gmail.com. This year we are looking for patrons to help support this free festival as we have been unable to meet our expenses in past years.
Please consider donating:

We are also looking for:
Volunteers! Needed in many capacities, prior to and on the day of the event. (distributing flyers, set up and break down of the festival space, front door greeters, kitchen help, hosting at the seed altar, kids zone, etc…)
A tarp or tent to cover the area for presentations.
A sound system for the music and presentation.
Donation of baked goods (Glutenous, Gluten-Free, Vegan or Non-Vegan) to be sold at the dessert table.
