Signatures/Petitions Needed by March 23rd to Maintain our Public Spaces Free of Agrochemicals
On March 23rd, 2017 at 6 pm in the Cultural Center in San Isidro de El General community members will be presenting the petitions to Maintain our Public Spaces Free of Agrochemicals to the municipality of Perez Zeledon. We need everyone's support to get as many signatures as possible and give them to Sabine, Amy, Eric or Desiree at the Tuesday market as well or Colibri’s Corner at the Thursday market. We have petitions available at the Tuesday market in both English and Spanish and our goal is to bring at least 1000 signatures to the hearing. Every signature counts so please consider asking your friends, neighbors and acquaintances and even visitors, who can put the name of the town that they are currently residing in as well as their passport numbers in the space that says "cedula". We will also be requesting that organic agriculture be given more priority in Perez Zeledon. The results of this hearing could set a precedent for other cantons in Costa Rica and beyond.
